OT/Frank. After seeing what's happened, and without the US market open to occupy my attention, it's given me a little time to think beyond my portfolio and my net worth. A lot of people have died. New estimates I've heard range between 20 and 30 thousand total casualties. Some of them were wealthy and powerful from years of long hours at the office, and developing clients rapport after normal biz hours. . And then? POOF....they're wipped from the face of the earth in moments. It's been a dramatic reminder to me that "you can't take it with you". I'm going to make more of an effort to trade a tad less and spend more quality time with my family. I can afford it and it's the right thing to do. Who knows. My two sons might be fighting overseas in just a couple of years Been in that downtown NYC financial district, in or near "ground zero", more times than I can count. Some years ago, even took the long elevator trip all the way to the top observation level of one of the WTC towers. Ot was extraordinary. On a clear day you could see the states of New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and of course New York & neighboring Long Island. Have to admit, that I consider myself lucky, I was positioned quite well for the market to be closed for an extended period on the day the music stopped........ For what it's worth, IMO they won't reopen US markets till the 1st massive counter offensive is under way against the terrorist group(s) and nation(s). They want to guarantee a massive rally for morale reasons. Be interesting to see if that hunch is correct. Nite all. Isopatch
