Dr V,
Congratulations!!!!

And I agree with you. I don't think that we will soon forget this. I also don't think that the population on SI is representative of the rest of the U.S. or world. Most will feel this deep in their core for a long time to come.

Hoo-ray!

Congratulations to you and yours, Dr. Voodoo. You've added a ray of sunshine to this bleak time.

I for one do not intend to forget.

I don't think anyone will forget, how can they? The point I'm trying to make.....and this is the last time......is this....do we have the stomach to do whatever it takes?

I see all the talking heads on TV saying, "We will do whatever it takes to destroy terrorism and the people responsible for this attack. We will destroy their network and the people that helped them." OK, fine, I agree....

....but, talk is cheap. For instance, when it's said, "we will destroy their network", what about the supposed strong family ties bin Laden has in Boston. Do we arrest these people? On what charge? Got proof? Are they citizens of the US?

How about the editor of the London based Islamic paper who stated he "knew" something would happen, but declined to report it, until he saw what happened. In my mind, he's just as guilty of supporting this terrorist act as the people who flew the planes. So do we arrest him? On what charge?

So, when we start bombing terrorist sponsoring states such as Afghanistan, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia (take your pick) and they start to fight back by bombing our foreign embassies and installations or our homeland, again, are we prepared to wage WAR on multiple fronts, WWIII?

I just want people to look deep into their hearts and souls when they start calling for WAR against, not an enemy, but a mind set.

Careful what you ask for, for surely it shall be yours...
