>>This may be a stupid question, but why in the hell would anyone care what QCOM is trading at, where it is trading at and if the damn company even exists anymore?>>

Because many of us who did survive still have families to feed, children to support, mortgages to pay, and like it or not life goes on. The markets will open either tomorrow or Monday, and someone out there will be prepared and will prosper. The tragedy is unspeakable, that goes without saying, but ignoring the fact that trading will resume soon will not alter the enormity of the atrocity and pain. I, for one, will be contributing generously to the funds set up for the firefighters who perished. I hope others who are able to prosper in the next few days consider doing the same.
