If you wanted to know how a very well planned strike was planned, provided, carried out and left no trail, you should ask the best professionals in surgical attacks. That's why I would ask the Mossad the hints on how this could be planned.
It is a sophisticated undertaking once you think about the logistics, choosing the right people, training them, psychologically evaluating them, choosing and provide them with the means, timing the action, choosing the targets. Sow a dead end trail in the aftermath to mislead the authorities, while your own trail cools off and you are distant in safety. (you don't really believe that the car in Logan Airport filled with flying training material is going to lead anywhere, do you?).

The whole thing is not for amateurs. This is for professionals. And the best professionals are to be found in the Mossad.
