The damage that still to be done. Governments act to assuage psychological fear of the commom people. Its agencies have to justify what it costs to tax payers.

These are going to make a big damage for the US business. I bracing to arrive in the US, the most "dangerous" thing a bottle to a friend of mine and being questioned about lots of idiotic things.

Just look to a few thousand people stranded in airports all over the place right now. This is a sign of things to come.

A few more bureaucrats will be hired. Foreign embassies will have their budgets increased, all in the name of 'security'.

Small companies making products that will be deemed of dual use by any bureaucratic agency will have its business decimated by the slow down.

Not only that. The worse is that other governments are going to follow the trend and emulate this, either by its own will or forced by the US.

The ineficiencies, impedances and red tape will hamper businesses.

I am now with my ear to the ground for this one: Govenrments were going public lately with the idea of taxing international funds transfers. We have to be carefull if this terrorist attack does not develop into a cause and effect of money transfers and governments get the free hand to start imposing curbs in money transfers.

Wonder if we'll ever have leaders who will deal with people as they would be delt with... why do our leaders deal with these people at all [Saddam, the Shaw, bin Laden, how many can you count since WW2]??? They used to be 'on our side'?? Who cares? Various leaders gave them 'gifts' with bad intention [not true gifts, tried to use them], what do they expect?
