re: there is probably not a civilized country on the planet that is not mourning the loss of their own citizens at the WTC.
from reading Russian news, a former enemy, I found that the republics (former soviet union) asked the citizens for a minute of silence to morn the tragedy in US.
OTOH, some "friendly" palestinian organizations openly celebrated on the streets

There is also an article in the San Francisco Chronicle. Jeremy Glick and Thomas Burnett -- as well as their fellow resistors -- are Heroes. Both are from the SF Bay.

This valiant group probably saved Flight 93 from hitting the White House -- the suspected target -- and killing hundreds of people. Flight 93 went down North of Camp David headed in the direction of D.C. Area.
