PT,

I am sure that the US military has all sorts of plans on file both as practice and in preparation. Since Afghanistan is a landlocked country... and there is some tough terrain this would be a real challenging logistical exercise. Who would be willing to provide the route for the heavy equipment?

Pakistan is obvious, and Russia is less obvious, but would probably more willing and reliable ally in this kind of exercise.
