Placing Seeker on ignore, as I did months ago, increases the intellectual rewards of Silicon Investor in a major way.. FYI

<<CNBC gets full credit for reporting these tragic events without inflaming hatred>>

As a long-time federal government employee (and college journalism graduate) who was engaged in working with the media for Presidential Cabinet appointees during the Nixon-Reagan years, and as a current poster on SI, and as a stock daytrader/position trader/long-term investor, I agree with this statement and many other concepts that Dale Baker promotes on SI.

The behavior of many posters on SI in the face of recent tragedy has me in a rather appalled state at the moment. We have ignorant posters believing that Wall Street actually WANTS the market to crash and believing that big money on Wall Street won't want to save it for long-term good of all. If they don't support it with their money, they will lose so much more in the future--that's simple economics.

Additionally, we have ignorance being displayed on SI about world events/politics/bigotry, and while I realize emotionalism is high at the moment, everyone needs to take a step back and think about the future of this country and how best to secure it. Bigotry ain't gonna get it.
