number one we must somehow accomplish the job that George Bush,sr,to the great detriment of the world, failed to finish---kill Saddam and all those close to him that could effectively replace him---that is totally break the power center of Sadddam, including Saddam.Tragically this was a simple matter if we completed the run into Baghdad and effectively taken control of Iraq.
George Bush,sr, had NO resolve No vision as to what the critical importance it was to do this.

I have said elsewhere,it is one the worst decisions in American history. And i don't say that in hindsight,i knew at the time and was furious at his lack of resolve----to this day,we are paying for this failure.
But as one fellow said, the idea we can do this with missile and bombs is naive---face it,only full fledged war can get this done.
Hi tech can soften them up but troops must finish the job.And without getting the backing of critical arab nations to fight with us ad is to make this matter virtually impossible. This is a reality we need face.
As the saying goes,Revenge must be COLD---the fact is,hot heads accomplish NOTHING--this is a matter that requires planning on the level of allied invasion of Nazi controlled europe.
We should have primary targets--the Iraq power structure--we in fact must overthrow the Iraqi government and replace it with Saddam's enemies, that do exist(in exile and in underground).
Regards those that bring up Truman, and say,we know what Harry would do don't know twit about history and Truman's REFUSAL to stoop to the Nuclear Bomb in
the Korean war,and this led to his firing the Glory Boy,MacArthur, who wanted to "Nuke em".
In the aftermath of Hiroshima and Nagasaki the full reality of the absolute horror of these weapons was brought home.
And the Never Again was established, but the world, each being terrified of the other built the bombs on the basis of if both have them,no one would dare use one.
I say people that say Nuke em are equal, without question,to the perpetrators of this act,as the innocent killed would be beyond imagination. And such an attitude shows the complete inability to imagine the horror they would have committed, and they would be monsters themselves---this is no debate, and fortunately those in power in this country are rational on that matter.
The taliban are recognized by only three countries--one today--Pakistan was giving the choice, you are with us or against us---and Pakistan decided they are with us.(i think we made it firmly stated that "you better" be with us.
Iraq--we know the situation---so sadly we must now complete the job a decade after it should have been accomplished.
Bushes incompetence made the WHOLE Persian Gulf War a meaningless effort and to this day i think he got away with it because beyond Schwarzcoff, there was NO resolve--including on the public level.Letting Saddam off the hook is as equal to if he had let Hitler off the Hook--no one on this earth in a postion of power come closer to true Naziism than Saddam regime, and The Taliban(and i ask people to at least understand Afghanistan is NOT a uniter, homogenous people----we are fighting the taliban and all who would support the Taliban.Max
That all i can write now---posting is getting repetitious---my posts are elsewhere--so they are available to read.
