I just got off the phone with a Waterhouse representative, who told me the following:

1. He would be very surprised if there is trading of equities tomorrow as Waterhouse's New York headquarters at 100 Wall St. is closed and inaccessible.

2. There will be no market orders accepted when the market is opened.

3. There will be no mutual fund orders accepted when the market is first opened. Waterhouse has cancelled any electronically-submitted orders for mutual fund trades that have been made since Monday.

4. They had expected a high call volume of questions and requests for trades when they opened yesterday and are surprised at how quiet the phone lines have been.

Take this all with a grain of salt and contact your own broker with questions, but I thought I'd pass this on.
