I have gone through a great personal tragedy some 19 years ago. Both my parents died in an accident when I was 19. Most people - including my wife - call me a tough guy. More than 50 hours after the attack, I am still trying to find words to describe my true feelings. The possibility that Meehan may no longer be with us is very very disturbing to me. I have only known him through SI and my PM exchanges. Every time I saw him on TV, I felt like my friend was on! What can I say... We live in the flight path of one of the airports from where the planes took-off and are used to watching so many landings or take-offs every day! The only jet sound I heard since yesterday was an F-16 patrolling the skies! That is a attestation of the fact that this is not a dream. My wife was stuck in Boston and thank God she is able to get on a train this morning to head home today!
