I agree that there is real danger of people lashing out. Using my example of the Palastinian cafe, I suppose that some revenge-seeking lunatic could fire bomb his store, but I don't expect this. What I do see as almost unavoidable is some passive discrimination where people simple decide they don't want to give their money to him, so they eat elsewhere. The same sort of thing could happen to all sorts of merchants and businessmen of Palastinian or Arabic descent who are fine Americans. Carl
