"the ones who are teaching death to enemies are spreading what I call 'Hate Literature'." Very true. "This is why many modern societies today cherish the rule of law above religion." Because of the multiplicities of religious outlook, the Law must, of necessity, embrace values that are commonly accepted by the majority. As such the Law represents a "common denominator" (some would say 'lowest common denominator'). Of course (from another vantage point) you could say that this represents the "highest value of the majority". Namaste! Jim
