Hi Hawkmoon; I agree with you, but I don't think that Muslim Americans need to show they're Americans, of course everybody (should) know that they are. Just like the Japanese who lived here during WW2 were indisputably American.

I did enjoy looking up passages in the Koran. One of my favorite links is this sourcebook for original historical texts:

It turns out that they have the original texts for hundreds of Islamic writings:

I love reading the old books, but I've always stuck to the Christian ones. (Except for the 1001 tales, which is Islamic.)

True, and I think by most part this has been done. Only the low life in Iraq and Taliban have not done this.
