I understand the arguments against new highs as good as anyone. I have been as vocal as anyone on SI about staying sold (Well, perhaps Luc was more vocal. -g). Of course the fundamentals suck, they always do before a turn -- always.

I am talking about a scenario, a possibility, and I am thinking in timeframes of months and years, not the next quarter. I am not betting on it, but I am open to it and will stay vigilant for the signs.

That Michigan survey was done Monday night. Released a day early, maybe to avoid releasing it right before the market opens.
