Like I said, there are problems, but initially, it could just be brute-forced until the finer points are figured out. What we are after here is only one thing: nobody under any circumstances gets into the cockpit. Hell, they could even be uniformed for all I care and take over the first 4 rows of the aircraft as a secure area. Anybody trying to get into the secure area is disabled with a tazer (whatever) or, in the worst case, shot.

Also, the security team never leaves the secure area. If someone is taken hostage in the cabin, that's terrible, but they do not leave.
