I've heard lotsa passive-aggressive remarks on the news inferring he (43) was a chicken for going to strategic command. Wife thinks if they keep it up they will have they cables and satellites unplugged.

He echoes some of my points before. I agree in one respect that the USA must make a point, and its going to require a ground war and occupation. My guess is we go and take Iraq again, and this time we stay to protect are interests and secure are oil supply. If needed we may have to go through Jordan to get there, so be it. On the other hand the USA has a history has of being ill-prepared for coming wars. In almost every case including WWI, WWII The Usa was ill prepared for what was to come. The speed and ability to emerge into a Military industrial complex from a Peace time economy is what is unique about the USA. In many ways ancient Athens was similear. In peace a bountifull society and in war a deadly machine. The fact is we need to start the switch back to the war machine. I dont think America realizes that this is an inevitability, and will be the cost of what is to come. As I have said before I am still surprised the reserves have not been called up. If Bush thinks a bombing campaghn is adequate he has another thing coming.

This kind of a provocation those who did The Attack should like very very much.
All this hysteria could destroy much more then The Attack itself.
The man who wrote this hates and despises all women in the way that muslims do.

HO HO HO! Fred's allright by me!

12) The only way we could save any dignity and respect in the world be to hit back so hard as to make teeth rattle around the world. A good approach would be to have NSA fabricate intercepts proving that Libya was responsible, mobilize nationally, invade, and make Libya permanently a US colony. Most Arab countries are militarily helpless, and that is the only kind our forces could defeat. Doing this, doing anything other than whimpering, would require that ancient military virtue known as "balls." Does Katie Couric have them?

Last time I checked, no!

Hi Allen,

Gee, I know lots of angry women!

If this guy had any decent points, he lost his ability to communicate with or convince at least the female half of his audience (and one would hope lost some of the male half as well) with his misogynistic and hatefilled language. Of course, he won't care about my opinion because he seems to grant women about as much status as the worst fundamentalist Muslims do. The man has serious problems.
He also needs a new wardrobe.
Hope you are all well- it has been a terrible week.
