Look at this. According to this report from Israel, the US is now discounting Iraq as a sponsor of the attack. Head fake? I don't see how Iraqi non-involvement could be determined so quickly.

The Israelis apparently still think Iraq is involved. To push that point of view is counter to Israeli interests as Iraq involvement could clearly lead to a regional war. This gives the Israeli view some credibility:
