Good questions raised there.

A terrible thing to think, but the explosives on a chopper is probably even easier to do than the planes. The fact that their plan used planes means two things to me:

1) They wanted to make the American public afraid; to fear getting into an airplane

2) They wanted to ensure the WTC actually collapsed and their engineering told them that a chooper filled with whatever would not have nearly the same chance of success.
