Exactly, I wonder how much of it can really be used for open market activity. Do you know if the Fed is required to publicly state their daily open market actions? TIA.

Isn't that expected and a positive ?. If I understand the tactic, Greenspan wants to keep ahead of the game, rather than having a massive liquidity funk all at the same time.
