There will be over-reaction on the security front. I am not forgetful of the tragedy of this sick act. I am not sure that you would call this an "overreaction", but: I have heard that some of these people were granted visas by our foreign service because although they were listed as suspected terrorists someone was too lazy to check the microfiche and the identities were not put on a computer database, presumably the duty of that same agency. Of course, if verified, this is a tragedy. The perverse part will of course be that this lapse of governmetal alacrity will occasion the event of massive government spending which will not be good for the nation.
