If one really wants to support the American economy, then there are many worthwhile things that can be done. Just buying or holding stock is not supporting the economy. It's beyond ludicrous. The American economy is in the most serious trouble in many years, perhaps ever if you look at the state of the credit bubble. The economy was sliding hard before Tuesday and propping up the market will do nothing in the long-term to assure our futures. These are difficult times that are going to require creative solutions in order to avoid terrible consequences. It's no time to be distracted by childish thoughts. All the best to you and your families in this weird and trying time. Allan
