The market is a voting machine. Per se it reflects as well as it only can the emotional (and sometimes rational;) situation and expectations of a very large voting population. IOW asking to go long or whatever is superfluous - it's like asking us all to streamline our feelings. What we all feel has already been said in enough detail. The feelings will not change - thay may slowly with time ebb down of course. I can say that much: my feeling of horror, sadness, "God, how can you let this kind of things happen" etc, is similar, but not the same as that of my neighbours here. Apply now this to the market.

There's danger that the market will reflect emotional distress. My opinion, however, to quote FDR out of my head:"The only thing US has to fear, is fear itself". And, by God, you have no reason to.
