Given the reasonable call for bipartisanship, in the wake of this crisis, it seems to me that any intense partisanship is somewhat disloyal. I have been more than even-handed about it, taking especial responsibility to police my own side. I would say that when that intense partisanship involves gratuitous insults of the president and his advisors, it is even more disloyal. Engaging in mere provocation and baiting of the opposition is even worse. I would not call it treasonous, but I would call it unpatriotic, and deeply distasteful........
