I basically agree with what you say. Others on the far right, however, have a much narrower definition of "free speech." Some even say it should be suspended in times of national emergency. I would strongly disagree with that position. That is probably a discussion topic for another day. Yes, you have a right to use the word "traitor," and I have a right to castigate you for doing so. All I'm saying is that in emotional times like this, we need people on both sides of the aisle to think, then type.
