Jon... I think what it signifies is that many women are liberal and democrat identified...and also because we probably feel like many things have been taken from us over the millenium -- we get a bit touchy (if not histrionic) over things being stolen -- like elections. But, I can tell I'm in the minority here (hmmmm...) -- and appreciate everything you fellas are saying. But, surely, there is room for differences of opinion. Simply because I don't find comfort in GW (but do in Cheney and Powell) doesn't mean I'm not a thousand percent behind what our country decides to do in retaliation to the horrific acts perpetrated on our country Monday. But that is because I am a patriotic American who will do whatever I can to help NY (because I live in CA will probably take the form of donations) it doesn't mean that I have lost all my original feelings about GW. I feel he has acted as well as he can. But that doesn't give ME alot of comfort.

Now I've stated my very humbled opinion. We don't need to rant and rave at one another because we're all so g**Damn upset at the moment. We're taking it out by our vents here and I agree, that's inappropriate. Let's try and keep the peace...All best to the thread and I'm sorry if I ruffled feathers. PoetTrader
