Do you think a diplomatic solution could be attained if the first chit on the table is the future existence of Mecca? Uh, yeah, I think we could reach an agreement on that basis. I think continued flow of oil would also have to be tied in, though. Our European allies NEED that Middle Eastern oil. But, yeah, I think they'd talk. I got this idea from a Jewish fellow I work with. He pointed out that they go for things we Westerners value- -lives; so we need to go for something they value- -Mecca. Let's throw in Medina too.
