Did you also tell them that another reason that it was just a blip in the line was because the components that created the line (and the blip) were changed on a regular basis or did you just reassure them. :-) Was the prof in dot coms? I will say this. One good thing that may come out of this market downturn will be that we may find that what is truly meaningful in life is not the MARKET. I am sure that the '29 fiasco had the same impact. Monty
