I have trouble believing that. We've done quite a paradigm shift this week. The aircraft carriers may be ready, but I doubt we have a plan to take and occupy Afghanistan. Of course, the Russians may have an old plan we can dust off...

The military has been ready for a LONG time to get this scumbag, Bin Laden, believe me. Politically the risks inherent in an operation to get him have not previously been acceptable. That has all changed now. He's dogmeat, him and his network.....
