"Bush Sr.'s role as commander in chief of the Persian Gulf War" I would change that to America's involvement. Then I would also agree. I am sure they do not like the Bush's. Would not expect them to. Did they like Clinton? Do you want terrorists to like us? "The chief terrorists harbor an intense personal hate for the Bush family" Again, substitute America for the Bush family. The hatred for the Bush family comes after the hatred for America imo. "then the White House and Air Force One wouldn't have been specific targets" Come on fj. Those are the symbols of our leadership and our nation. They do acts like this to try and demoralize us. I suspect they acted based on the earliest date that they felt they were prepared enough to succeed. I would bet they hatched this plan before (or shortly after) Bush even announced he would run.
