Jdsu valuation was out of whack and the debt from the telcos made it's short to intermediate term outlook lessened, but I think you're going a bit too far. To say that jdsu investors don't look or know how to read annual reports is shameful. Why would brk even go down if it's investors knew about the potential losses and have been prepared for them and are long term INVESTORS? The trading volume is low on it. Surely, you aren't saying they would panic? Why would they if this is a short term event and they've read the annual report? Do not underestimate technology. I have a sneaky feeling that it will be back. Short term is anyone's guess.
