Just saw incredible interview on WCBS NY with CEO of Cantor-Fitzgerald, which was on top floors of the WTC. They lost 700 people. They are THE market maker/clearinghouse whatever of US Treas bonds. $60 trillion in business in 2000. This guy is saying that the 260 survivors of his employees voted to come to work last night and today with no sleep and help bonds trade today. gosh if that's true it's quite a story. This CF CEO would have been there too but he was taking his 5 yr old sone to kindergarten. He's in a lot of pain it's obvious...man..

...it would be awesome if the US/NATO could build an alliance or some sort of agreement with Iran ... As a Lebanese reporter noted on ABC yesterday, the US once had very good relations with most of the Arab world, partly because it was never a colonial ruler of any part of the Middle East. The majority of the people of Iran, I believe, would like to restore friendship with the West so that they may live free and prosper. The current leadership seems to be moving in that direction, but very slowly as they live in fear of those who derive their power from instilling hatred. Now is their chance to denounce hatred and violence and have true peace and prosperity. The same opportunity is available to other peoples of the Middle East, North Africa and Southwestern Asia, whether Muslim, Jewish, Christian or otherwise. Bob
