Brian,

I think that many leisure travelers will be making similar decisions to yours in the coming days and weeks ahead. How are we ever going to make this up to the airline industry, which was reeling with big losses even before these recent events? And I expect it will get even worse as airline ticket prices will eventually have to absorb the costs of additional security measures. And note how empty these jets were that were used in the attacks- on the order of 50 to 60 paying passengers per plane.

I bought some shares of Boeing last year just as their labor difficulties were ending, and am beginning to experience almost tech-stock type losses on the position. I hope it is not my patriotic duty to hold shares that I do not regard as having favorable prospects. The rising crecendo of patriotism is getting so loud recenty that selling stock is almost becoming a traitorous act.

Sam

**OT**

I **think** I have made an important decision in deciding(for the moment at least) to put off my travel plans to Peru for the moment.

Probably a wise decision. ALso, your optimism for the future would have been greatly missed on this thread. I think you do a real service here helping us stay optimistic for the future.
