Whatever the district says to do, I will do- unless it is absolutely outrageous (obviously this is a personal thing, and will be different for different people). Local school boards are fairly in touch with their communities, and my job is to abide by their decisions (in my opinion)- not to be adversarial. I did not give up my memberships. I am an inactive member of the Oregon and California bars. I am sure this will come in handy when I get my administrative credential.
