Thanks ThirdEye, and I think you are right about the "fox in the chicken coop". Of course it's in their own best interests to appear cooperative... especially with as many military training camps as they have in the country. This way they can go "No, No, this one is for Kashmir... this one is training for China's oppressed minorities, etc. And since they do have "the bomb" the prospective alliance won't wish to rile them too much... except for India, that is.
