Actually an escape hatch with an attached chute has been considered...

That's not nearly as fun as my "hijacker trap door". Could even put the "door" on the roof. It could just suck the terrorist up and out. And I stress here... no parachute! Then release a second door inside the cab to be sucked closed...then close the original.

The one big drawback I can see to my plan is. What if the co-pilot goofs up and accidentally "gongs" a stewardess bringing them some coffee. Just imagine the pilot saying: "Oh you're really in trouble now...that's your third stewardess this week!"
