It shows that Arafat is at least enough in touch with reality to realize what a catastrophe Tuesday was for him, personally (& of course applying his usual methods). There goes the shoot'n'whine strategy.

I noticed that Israeli tanks have rolled into Jenin (suicide bomber home central) tonight, and for some reason, our State Department is no longer calling the move "provocative" or urging Israel to use "restraint".
