(not eros)

Sorry, DJ but I've seen and experienced to many cases of abuse 'mitigated' by Oh but I love them........

I guess the folks I'm talking about don't understand love in Paul's broader sense.

I view love and respect as separate and not necessarily mutually required. Love happens, respect is earned. There are people I love but don't respect.

regards
Kastel

Karitas and Eros and Agape are not the same things. You need a lot of things to survive in this world (who knows about the next?) - not sure what's the most important.

A woman who is a family friend owns a restaurant in Manhattan. She took her six year old to day care when she went to work but returned soon after the bombing to pick him up. They live in Brooklyn, so to get home they had to walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, and across it to get home.

The bridge isn't that far from the WTC, and she said looking back at the disaster was motivating.

I guess part of what motivated her to walk across that bridge (it's colossal) (every bridge into Manhattan is colossal) holding the hand of a young child was love, but it was more than that.

I don't mean to belittle love.
