That's because he's probably not used to someone that doesn't expect to be paid for every little thing. There was a movie several years ago with john ritter, I don't remmeber the title and it had to do with space aliens giving earth either the big weapon or a cure for all diseases. but we could only choose one. at the end ritter chooose the cures, and when asked what they wanted for payment, they replied.. "A glass of water". I liked that movie, and now whenever I do something for someone, (just being a nice guy) and they ask me what do I want in return, I always say "A glass of water", They never know what I am talking about, but at least I get a chuckle out of it, and that's really all that matters.
