of nations" 1765, ten years before Adam Smith.

Free trade, democracy, especially education, freedom of speach, press, religion and unions.

Probably "inspired" by working in north, rural Finland,
just as Adam Smith in north Scotland.

In contrast to Smith he was elected to congress and
much of the stuff was implemented.
