Unfortunately, the message you laid out sarcastically is exactly the message we have been sending in the Middle East by not responding to terrorism or treating it as crime to be dealt with by judicial methods.

And our last campaigns in the Gulf and Kosovo have convinced our enemies that we are petrefied of taking any casualties.

bilow, i guess i should have added right now. things can change. america has done some darn heroic things in their time - the current world order is due, in large part, to american creativity, ingenuity and willingness to sacrifice - even life.

americans have done many great things... :-)
