SI isn't a public place, plus almost everyone on it seems to be upset about something or other at any given moment. I don't think they get any joy out of their on line experience.

Except Merlin, of course.

Because this is not a public place. SI is a private entity that offered membership with anonymity, and then (unintentionally) reneged.
