Academic, journalist etc. ?He supports my view, the the Taliban are so hated by most Afghans, the we must use this to our advantage,as we can be seen as liberators. I think views are mixed. In the south and west where they are based they may still be liked for bringing peace to that region. Most people's concern there is with the drought. Among native Kabulis and people in the north I am sure that they are hated by many.as these people vanish into the earth in twink. "Militants" were reported leaving Kabul together with the UN and aid workers.there could be a second cell out there with a 2nd wave of terror If so, it will come in a very different form I would suppose. Though others in other parts of the World may now attempt to pull off a copycat of this attack.none(i am thinking how many people of that suicide mission quality, are actually available?? Yes, I think it was quite different to place the explosives on some guy who then goes an stands in a restaurant in Israel and pulls the cord, than this group who train for a year and then fly planes into targets.they are not cowards I totally agree there. Not sure why people call them cowards. "how two of the cell members were seen ordering alcoholis drinks and imbibing--he says "what are we dealing with here???? this is not islam" I did read that in the newspaper today. One point is they wanted to reduce suspicion about themselves as much as possible. Nobody would think that someone who drinks would carry out a suicide mission. They may feel that that allows them to break all other Islamic laws. On the other hand that would point the finger at the like of Sadaam but I can't imagine that so many would want to commit suicide for him? On the other hand (again) it seems that not all the suicide bombers in Israel are particularly religious, they just want to revenge the death of friends etc. and think that there is nothing worth living for, so they agree to act for whatever group it is.
