Nobody likes a quitter...

>>>"He lifted the curtain of protection," Falwell said, "and I believe that if America does not repent and return to a genuine faith and dependence on him, we may expect more tradegies, unfortunately." " God has protected America from her inception," Falwell said. <<<

Hello TexasDude

I agree with what you say. All sorts of religious fanaticism we should go after and it includes those in this country. But I am sitting here and watching the prayer service being held at the National Cathedral in DC with mixed emotions of sorrow and anger and trying to come to terms with the following thoughts:

Today we will pray, tomorrow we will fight.

Strange that while we here pray for the innocent souls who lost their lives, the Taliban fundamentalist spiritual leaders are defending the criminals such as Osama in the name of religion.

God bless America

Falwell further commented that he did not believe God "had anything to do with the tradegy," but that God had permitted it

Falwell is a holy roller nutball. The difference between him and the Islamic fundies is that he doesn't control a country (ours). I'm not religious but "Thank God for that!!".
