To all of those who may have misunderstood my earlier post as a sarcasm on the firefighters who are risking their lives in New York. It is not! I can not describe in words how much regard I have for those brave fire fighters who risk their lives to save lives and property. If any thing, it is a sarcasm on Mr. Hopkins who claimed to be a trained fire fighter and commented on the weakness on the structural design of WTC in his post: Message 16347035 To which I replied: Message 16347464 My comment *"I understand that fire fighters should know something about structures"* may have caused the misunderstanding. This was not aimed at the fire fighters in New York. Rather, it is aimed at Mr. Hopkins who claimed to be a "fire fighter" Most people, like I do, regard fire fighters highly and I thought his word on structural design may be taken for real. That is exactly why I responded to his post!!!! (on a second thought, may be I should have been better of just keeping my mouth shut!) My position is made clear further here. I hate to be on the defensive in my posts because rarely, if ever, I post any controversial posts. I just don't want my "SI friends" to misunderstand me, which is why I am responding defensively.
