Last night I took part in a group discussion with my neighbors where most did give the impression that they fully understood the extent of this tradegy. To a few it was still sinking in from the shock.

They did fully understand the issue of loss of like and that attack of the American way, but it became obvious that this group felt that bringing those criminals to justise was going to be relatively easy and somewhat transparent to them.

Maybe it will be relatively easy, but I don't think so. I truely believe that this could turn out to a very long drawn out war. My perception is that this is not just a war against Osama bin Laden, but should be a war against terrorism. So what does that mean. To me, this war needs to be extended to those groups/countries which support the actual terrorists/terrorists acts, because if only Osama bin Laden is brought to justice, other bin LADEN's will come to the forefront.

So this could become a drawn out war, but must be done. We also need to prepare for retalitory acts against the U.S. whether its in our homeland or toward Americans overseas.
