Thanks for telling me about the candle lighting. I hadn't heard. I'm doing a little research (a.k.a. goofing off) this morning to figure out the news we might be seeing in the coming weeks after all the human interest stories of heroism and tragedy have slowed down. Here is a comprehensive piece about Afghanistan and bin Laden. stratmag.com It really explains a lot that I was not aware of. There is even some suggestions of strategy of dealing with the people from there. Certainly more reading than I felt like doing but it taught me a lot.
