So far birds handle wind turbines beautifully. They have problems with oil spills though. There's farms of wind mills coming up across the country - Rhön, Schwäbische Alb, close to Paderborn. The north and East see have each several large territories on the shelf reserved for it. Am bashfully long in one of the companies flogging it. Of course major help is guaranteed price for kwh, but hey, it's very much as highway tolls - pay as you go. dj
