wow. perhaps it has never been more clear that our standards of support must be much more absolute. its the same story that keeps playing out, over and over. we support a horribly corrupt government out of self interest, only to have that support be turned as a weapon against us. the lesson of not acting in the best interest of the people themselves, but our own financial and momentary political interest against another enemy. we have obviously learned a very hard lesson that supporting religious fundamentalism supports extremism, and needs to be viewed in the same light and with the same lessons we have learned with fascism and communism. stop buying oil from the middle east.
