Heard it on the news this am on the way in. I could not find a link to it in my cursory search on-line. The remark was attributed to a high government minister and my take on it was that this person, at least, was trying to back away from Chirac's promise of "total support." Anyone besides me think there may be a certain amount of disinformation being circulated? I'm not sure I buy into the press stories today that everyone detained at the NY area airports yesterday has been released.
